Come master the techniques of shooting fashion and beauty in Prague! Working with professional models Erin Williams and Eby Maude photographer Dan Tidswell will take you through the process of finding great locations, overcoming the different challenges that outdoor photography brings, and set you on the path to producing outstanding images for your portfolio.
This is an intimate four-person workshop which emphasises the practical skills, teamwork (and fun) necessary to produce beautiful images on location. We will be travelling light and harnessing the contrasting historical and urban environments in Prague, using a combination of natural light, reflectors and strobes to include dawn, sunset and evening shoots. A small number of photographers means much more individual shoot time and will ensure that you go home with numerous unique images as well as having more dedicated advice and tuition from Dan.
Who is this workshop for?
This workshop is aimed at amateur and established photographers looking to expand their skillset whilst producing beautiful images on location. Shooting in a busy city can be a challenging experience, this workshop aims to give you the confidence to overcome obstacles and ensure the success of your own location shoots in the future.
Photography in Prague
Prague, capital city of the Czech Republic, is bisected by the Vltava River. Nicknamed “the City of a Hundred Spires,” it’s known for its Old Town Square, the heart of its historic core, with colorful baroque buildings, Gothic churches and the medieval Astronomical Clock, which gives an animated hourly show. Completed in 1402, pedestrian Charles Bridge is lined with statues of Catholic saints.
Prague is an incredibly versatile and user-friendly city, we have pre-scouted all of the best locations to keep you shooting beautiful images all day long. We will be making the most of the stunning city and will be shooting all the main attractions, with fashion, lifestyle and ballet. Erin has put together a wardrobe of outfits to suit each scenario and will style and accessorise each to perfection with both models changing hair styles and makeup per set to ensure each set you get is vastly different and portfolio worthy.
